| CORBA | |
| The Common Object Request Broker Architecture is a middleware system for building distributed applications. It is looked after by the Object Management Group (OMG) which has been in existence for about 10 years.
CORBA supports distributed objects. The "objects" may be written in C, C++, Ada, Java, SmallTalk, Python, etc. Some of these are not O/O languages. A single distributed application may use a mixture of languages.
